FH St. Pölten
The Lower Austrian University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten offers 25 degree programs as well as 24 continuing education courses in the pillars of railroad technology, media, business, digital technologies, health, security, information technology and social affairs. Research is conducted at the FH in nine institutes and interdisciplinary fields of competence. The Carl Ritter von Ghega Institute for Integrated Mobility Research, the Institute for Creative\Media/Technologies and the affiliated research group Media Business combine their expertise for the FFG project CargoRiders, which is designed for sustainable individual travel - Hop-On, Hop-Off on inland and coastal cargo ships in the European Union.
BARGELINK
Bargelink.com was launched in 2001 and is the first and only online marketplace for European inland shipping. The Bargelink fleet currently includes 1,571 inland vessels with a total tonnage of 4.23 million tons deadweight. These vessels operate on all major European waterways. Approximately 10 million tons of goods are offered to Bargelink each year.
Mondial
The Austrian travel company Mondial was founded in 1966 by in Baden near Vienna.
